Lucy James is a composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer working across theatre and contemporary music practice. She has established herself as a composer for stage, with work touring theatres across the UK alongside her independent practice as a solo artist.

Her work includes the award-winning Odyssey, the UK’s first VR theatre production, which received Best Digital Production of the Year at The Stage Awards 2023.

Alongside her practice, she has contributed research to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Arts, Health and Wellbeing, and received a commendation at the Houses of Parliament for her community songwriting research.
