LCCM is getting ready to host its first ever TEDx evening at The Music Box on 23 March, bringing together artists and academics for a series of short talks exploring how music and creativity can move us from simply getting by to flourishing socially, psychologically and culturally.
Across five talks, TEDx LCCM: Beyond Survival will explore the role of music in shaping how we learn, connect and understand the world around us. We will also be joined by LCCM alum and The Voice UK winner Annatoria, who will bring an artist’s perspective into the conversation.
If you’re interested in where music fits into real life, beyond streams, socials and career paths, this is one to show up for.
The Lineup
Part of the global TEDx platform, Beyond Survival will centre on a simple but big shift in thinking. What happens when music is not treated as a luxury we outgrow, but as infrastructure for belonging, identity and embodied knowledge?
In an industry that often focuses on hustle and survival, this opens up a different kind of conversation that can inform artistry, study and beyond.
