Darren Sadler is a Music magazine editor, writer, label owner, band manager and educator. Darren has enjoyed a professional career in the music industry spanning 30 years.

Darren has held senior positions at internationally renowned magazines Metal Hammer (Editor), Rock Sound (Deputy Editor), Kerrang! (Features Editor), Terrorizer  (Managing Editor), and Iron Fist (Editor). 

As well as launching his own brand Metalhead, he produces Official Magazines for both 2000Trees and ArcTanGent festivals, and writes sleeve notes and biographies for companies that include Cherry Red and Metal Blade Records. 

He’s interviewed everyone from the Foo Fighters, to Slipknot to KISS and countless others.

Darren runs his own record label and has helped navigated his artists to release music, tour globally, achieve synch deals with brands, and deliver international marketing and promotional campaigns.

Since 2010 Darren has been working in FE/HE specialising in music business and entrepreneurship.
